Bias in Negotiation CLE Presentation

A Free CLE Presentation of the S.J. Quinney College of Law, the Utah Minority Bar Association, and Women Lawyers of Utah

3:00 – 4:30 p.m., Room 6613, S.J. Quinney College of Law,
The S.J. Quinney College of Law, the Utah Minority Bar Association, and Women Lawyers of Utah are presenting a free CLE program addressing gender, racial, and cultural bias in negotiation.

The program is organized into three segments. In the first segment, Clinical Professor James Holbrook of the S.J. Quinney College of Law and Professor Marcy Fetzer of the BYU Marriott School of Business will talk about gender differences in negotiation. They will be followed by a panel of Utah lawyers including Michelle Kennedy, Leilani Marshall, and Angelina Tsu who will discuss their own experiences of bias in legal negotiations. The final segment involves audience discussion of these topics in small groups.

A reception with light refreshments follows the CLE program.

Paid parking is available at the Rice-Eccles Stadium. We encourage you to use public transportation to our events. Take TRAX University line to the Stadium stop and walk a half block north. The law school is on the Red Route for the University’s free campus shuttles (Carlson Hall stop).
