EVENT DESCRIPTION:

Please join us on Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, in the Moot Courtroom to hear an expert panel discussion commemorating the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 airliner attacks on the World Trade Center Towers and the Pentagon. The attacks initiated the Global War on Terror, the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and heightened security at airports around the world.

Pizza will be served.

Amanda M. Hansen (JD ’19), founding partner, BEAR Law Group, and U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer 3 (Ret.)

David Irvine (JD ’71), former U.S. Army brigadier general and former Utah state legislator

David Schwendiman (JD ’76), former chief prosecutor in The Hague and former director of forward operations for Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR)
