Come engage in “Service and Schmoozing” Saturday, November 19

 “Service & Schmoozing” Service Project

What: Come volunteer at a local Head Start school facility with your fellow SJQ students, alums and other area attorneys from the SJQ Young Alumni Association!

When: Morning of Saturday, November 19, 2011.   A light breakfast (donuts, juice, coffee, etc.) will start at 8:30 a.m., and work begins at 9:00 a.m.

Where: James Russell Head Start Facility, 1240 North 1040 West, Salt Lake City.

Why: Four reasons I can think of off the top.  1. It’s a good thing to do.  It’s one of the most worthy causes you can find—little kids who need help.  2. You need to take your mind of studying or work for just a bit.  3. You will work side by side with attorneys—no awkward lunch!  Great way to network in a very casual way.  4. This would be a great thing to do with a mentor or mentee if you have one , but this is open to everyone.  5. Coffee and donuts—I know I’m there.
