The alumni magazine of the S.J. Quinney College of Law
Winter 2024 Issue
Welcome to the newest issue of Res Gestae, Utah Law's alumni magazine!
In this issue, Judge Mary Noonan discusses her work as a social worker and later a juvenile court judge—a career path that started with a dare from fellow students when she was an undergraduate.
We also spotlight current student Anna Hall, the inaugural winner of the Alexander Zeev Guiora Bystander Initiative Award, and learn more about the students and alums supporting the College of Law's Bystander Initiative. Finally, alum Richard Burbidge looks back on his career in trial law and his newfound passion for youth restorative justice, which included producing an award-winning documentary.
Read In Memoriam to remember classmates who have now passed away, and check out the dean's letter for more information about what's new at Utah Law.
