Utah Law's 2025 Strategic Plan
Dear Utah Law community,
I am very pleased to share the S.J. Quinney College of Law’s 2025 Strategic Plan—a roadmap for the college’s efforts in the years to come, and a foundation for building on our strengths as a leading law school.
The college’s strategic plan is the result of many months of work by our Strategic Planning Committee, to whom I am extremely grateful. The committee gathered feedback from across our community throughout this process, resulting in a plan that reflects the needs and perspectives of students, alumni, faculty and staff.
We believe this is an opportune time to establish a new strategic plan for the College of Law. Having accomplished many of the goals we set for ourselves over the past five years, we now look towards maximizing our impact going forward. Additionally, in light of the broader challenges facing higher education, we believe that intentional reflection and goal-setting will position the college to succeed in this dynamic environment—while fulfilling its ultimate objective of educating future legal professionals.
The strategic plan is centered around a new mission statement and four primary objectives that will guide the college’s work. Much of the plan focuses on enriching the College of Law community—a reflection of our ongoing commitment to our students, alumni, faculty and staff.
The S. J. Quinney College of Law has so much to be proud of in recent years. With this strategic plan, we look forward to building on this momentum as we serve our community long into the future.
I invite you to explore our strategic plan below.
Chi Miigwetch (Many Thanks),
