Adjunct Professor of Law
Lee Warthen, librarian and adjunct professor of law, is a 1984 graduate of the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, where he received a M.A. in 1983 and a M.L.S. in 1975. Before coming to the University of Utah in 1985, he worked at BYU and Washington and Lee University. He is the assistant director and head of collection building and maintenance at the S.J. Quinney Law Library where he coordinates maintenance of the building, furnishings, and book collections. He also works in collection development and reference. He is a member of the Utah State Bar.
Professor Warthen teaches the legal research component of the first-year legal methods class and an advanced legal research class with the team.
