On July 16, Chibli Mallat, a professor of law at the S.J. Quinney College of Law, published an op-ed in the Lebanon Daily Star. 

The op-ed, titled “Reconciliation in Iraq: taking the Constitution seriously,” explores the possibility of a constitutional reconciliation in Iraq as a means of developing “legal routes to address inevitable problems, and provides ways out of political deadlock.”
