Driving Directions

Parking Update:  From June 2013-August 2015 during construction of the new law building, the parking lot immediately behind the law school will at times be closed.  The public can park in the football stadium lot by purchasing a day pass at the kiosk in the northeast end of the stadium lot. The stadium lot is across the street directly south from the law school parking lot.

For Those with Mobility Impairments: Physical access to the law library will be severely restricted from June 1–August 15, 2013 due to construction.  The parking lot behind the law school will be closed.  Patrons needing special accommodations should call the Office of Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action in advance at (801) 581-8365 to make appropriate arrangements.  They are open Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm.

From downtown: Drive east on South Temple Street to 1300 East Street. Turn
right (south) and continue on 1300 East to 400 South. Turn left (east) on 400 South and then take the second left into the parking lot. The library is the long, rectangular building to your left as you drive into the parking lot. It is immediately south of Pioneer Theater. There are meters down by Pioneer Theater and on the upper level near the Field House.

From the airport: As you leave the airport, bear to the left, toward the I-215 connection. Take the North Temple Street exit, to the right. Continue east on North Temple Street to State Street (approx. 4 miles). Turn right (south), go one block to South Temple Street. Turn left (east), then continue on South Temple to 1300 East Street (approx 1.3 miles), and turn right (south). Turn left (east) on 400 South and then take the second left into the parking lot. The library is the long, rectangular building to your left as you drive into the parking lot. It is immediately south of Pioneer Theater. There are meters down by Pioneer Theater and on the upper level near the Field House.

Public Transportation: Several UTA buses and the TRAX light rail system travel from downtown to the University area. Call UTA at BUS-INFO for exact information and schedules, or see the UTA website for up to date schedules and routes.
