Finding MAC (network) address on an Apple Computer

A MAC address is like a computer’s unique fingerprint. (MAC address is not specific to Apple Macintosh computers.) We ask that you register it with us to have access to the law school’s wireless network.

Apple OS 10.x (10 to 10.3)
1. Click on the Apple Icon top right of your screen
2. Select System Preferences…
3. Find Internet & Network click on Network
4. Click on Show selection bar and select AirPort
5. Look for AirPort ID (i.e. 00:09:08:A3:BB:C3)
6. Click here to register your MAC online.

*MAC registration can take up to 24 hours before it’s updated on our database.
