Changing dafault home page

Have you ever wanted to change the page that automatically starts up when you launch your web browser? Here’s how:

–If you’re using an IBM ThinkPad, you are probably using access connections. Press Function F5, click on the button that says Access Connections, then click on Manage, select the profile you want to edit the homepage on, then go to the File menu and click Edit. Click on the tab farthest to the right uncheck the default homepage that is set. Click OK, now you can change your homepage in your browser settings.–

Internet Explorer

  1. Select “Tools” from the menu bar
  2. Select “Internet Options”
  3. Click on the “General” tab.
  4. In the “Home page” section, type the web address for your new homepage
  5. Click “OK.”
  6. Your new Home Page should now appear every time you launch your browser

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Select “Tools” from the menu bar
  2. Select “Options”
  3. Click on the “General” tab.
  4. In the “Home page” section, type the web address for your new homepage
  5. Click “OK.”
  6. Your new Home Page should now appear every time you launch your browser

Safari

  1. Select “Safari” from the menu bar
  2. Select “Preferences”
  3. Click on the “General” tab.
  4. In the “Home page” section, type the web address for your new homepage
  5. Close the preferences window
  6. Your new Home Page should now appear every time you launch your browser

Opera

  1. Select “Tools” from the menu bar
  2. Select “Preferences”
  3. Click on the “General” tab.
  4. In the “Home page” section, make sure “Start with a homepage” is written
  5. In the “Home page” section, type the web address for your new homepage
  6. Click “OK.”
  7. Your new Home Page should now appear every time you launch your browser

Camino

  1. Select “Camino” from the menu bar
  2. Select “Preferences”
  3. Click on the “General” tab.
  4. In the “Home page” section, type the web address for your new homepage
  5. Click “OK.”
  6. Your new Home Page should now appear every time you launch your browser

Netscape

  1. Select “Edit” from the menu bar
  2. Select “Preferences”
  3. Click on “Navigator” from the list to the left
  4. In the “Home page” section, type the web address for your new homepage
  5. Click “OK.”
  6. Your new Home Page should now appear every time you launch your browser
