Backing Up Your Data
If you have ever accidentally deleted a twenty page essay the night before it is due, or had your hard drive burst into flames, you know the importance of backing up. If you never had something like this happen, you probably will in the future.
In either case backing up your data is crucial to a happy life as a law student. The helpdesk at the S.J. Quinney Law Library supports a program called Dropbox for backing up information. This program uploads a copy of your data online and keeps it there. You can access your data anywhere there is a computer and an internet connection. You can also download Dropbox on your iPhone or Android phone and get access virtually anywhere!
It is highly recommend you install and use this software to keep you from bursting into tears when your toddler decides to use your laptop like a Frisbee out of a two story window a day before finals week.
You can download Dropbox here(works on Mac, PC, and Linux)
