Accountant

As Accountant, Yuka James performs a variety of accounting tasks for the College of Law. Yuka began working for the U in Income Accounting in 2007 and joined the College of Law in 2009. Prior to that time, she worked for over 10 years as an Accountant and System Analyst at AMD in Tokyo. James earned her B.S. in Exercise and Sports Science at the University of Utah and will receive her M.B.A. at Westminster College this fall. When asked how she ended up in Utah so far from Japan where she grew up, she says, “I’m a skier. Utah has such wonderful ski mountains in the world. I am going to teach skiing to my kids (Swiss Mountain Dog and Australian Cattle dog) this coming winter!”
