Scanning and Metadata Technician (Library Specialist)

Matt supports and maintains the College's digital collections, processing archival photographs, publications, papers, ephemera and rare books related to the College and its history for access and preservation. He earned a B.A. in Media Studies from BYU and a Masters in Library and Information Science from UCLA, where he studied information- and knowledge-making as contextual phemonena. He has experience as a records manager and a digitization and metadata specialist for archives in and around Los Angeles and Salt Lake City.

Matt is a lifelong student of music. He lives with his partner and an ever-increasing number of records, books, and other gleanings.
