Front Office Manager

Xoel (Joel) Cárdenas joined the S.J. Quinney College of Law in 2011 after working for seven years at Weber State University (WSU) where he served as the Hispanic/Oportunidad Scholarship Advisor at the Multicultural Student Center.  Cárdenas received his B.A. in Professional & Technical Writing in 2008 and his M.A. in English in 2011, both from Weber State.

As an Executive Assistant, Mr. Cárdenas provides staff support to two full-time law faculty members and eight adjunct faculty members. His behind-the-scene efforts are integral to the smooth operation of the Law School.

In his "spare" time Xoel is also a part-time writer/columnist for Bleacher Report, the US' third most visited sports site. He writes about world football, in particular, FC Barcelona. He is a regular on Israel Sports Radio as a soccer analyst.
