Felicity Murphy received a B.A. in English Teaching from Brigham Young University in 2000 and a J.D. from the S.J. Quinney College of Law in 2011. She taught high school English for eight years prior to attending law school. She is the head of faculty services, provides reference services and supervises the Quinney fellows program. She is a member of the Utah State Bar.

Additionally, Professor Murphy teaches the legal research component of the first-year legal methods class as well as an advanced legal research course.
