Executive Assistant to Faculty

Cynthia Lane joined the College of Law staff in 1996. Prior to that, she was employed as a paralegal by several law firms in both Colorado and Utah, including eight years at Ray, Quinney and Nebeker, and also spent a year working in the Utah Attorney General's office. Cynthia graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She obtained her paralegal certificate from the Denver Paralegal Institute.

As Executive Secretary, she has assisted the majority of the faculty at the S.J. Quinney College of Law. As senior secretary, she aids faculty with the preparation of class work, exams, and journal articles, travel, calendaring, and letters of recommendation for students. She also works with the Utah Law Review in assigning articles to various editors and handling correspondence.
