Peter Metcalf, President, Chief Executive Officer, Director
Peter R. Metcalf, 55, has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer since May 2010. Mr. Metcalf served as the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Black Diamond Equipment, Inc. (“Black Diamond Equipment”) since co-founding Black Diamond Equipment in 1989 until the completion of the company’s acquisition of Black Diamond Equipment in May 2010. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado, with a major in Political Science. He also earned a Certificate in Management from the Peter Drucker Center of Management. Based upon Mr. Metcalf’s role as CEO and President of the company as well as being the co-founder of Black Diamond Equipment which provides Mr. Metcalf with an extensive knowledge of Black Diamond Equipment’s history, products, strategies, and culture, the company believes that Mr. Metcalf has the requisite set of skills to serve as a Board member of the company.
