Downtown Fall Firm Crawl September 10:  Students have already RSVP’d for this event.  Please note that the crawl begins at 4:00, a half hour earlier than previously announced.  If you are not sure you signed up, please check with PDO.  There are 12 firms participating in the crawl.  The Young Alumni Association will randomly divide students into groups of approximately 10 students, and student groups will be assigned a “crawl” schedule to visit four of the 12 firms.  This is a professional networking event, so business or business casual dress is appropriate.  The firms enjoy hosting you and provide food and sometimes even swag!  Many students tell us that this is their favorite networking event all year.  A side bonus is getting to know other students in your group as you “crawl” to the different firms.

 Crawl Logistics on September 10:

1.  Over your lunch break, change into business or business casual attire unless you are already wearing it.  You may store clothes in the PDO office.

2.  Class ends at 2:55 for 1L’s.  At 3:05, meet in the hall in front of PDO to get your crawl map /schedule and to join your other group members.  We will email you your group number earlier that day, so gather under the sign for your group taped to the wall.

3.  Board the 3:28 University Trax for the ride downtown.  You will be expected at the first firm on your crawl at 4:00 pm.  Unless there is a very good reason for you to take your own transportation downtown, please take Trax.  Parking is not provided.

4.  Approximately every 20 - 30 minutes you will rotate to another firm.  There will be 10 minutes allowed to move from one location to the next.  Note:  Each group will have an assigned “timekeeper” to keep the group on schedule, so please come prepared in case you are the timekeeper for your group.

5.  The crawl should end by approximately 6:30.
