Although Apple computers are not supported by the Law School, it is possible to use Exam4 using the new Macbook and Macbook Pro computers. Here are a few tips:
Bootcamp and Windows XP must be installed. Exam4 will not work with Parallels.HERE is a link to download Bootcamp.
Apple computers use the command button for copy and paste (the Apple key). Windows computers use the control button (ctrl). If the command button is used on the Windows side, it is the same as pressing Alt+Tab which minimizes your Exam4 window and brings you to the desktop. This is something that should be avoided during the exam.
Macbooks and Macbook Pros only have 1 button. HERE is some software to emulate a second button by pressing ctrl+click. Another option would be to bring a USB mouse.
Exam4 will not work with older Apple computers (iBook & Powerbook) because Windows cannot be installed natively on them.
