  Serve on the planning committee for class reunions held each year for 10-, 20-, 30-, 40-, and 50-year anniversary gatherings.

• Class Representatives

  Ask your classmates by phone or letter to participate in the college’s annual fund drive.

• Mentoring program for 1Ls

  Offer insight into your area of practice. Help student plan their careers. Call Legal Career Services at 801.581.7767.

• Competitions

  Act as a judge for moot court, alternative dispute resolution, and negotiation competitions.

• Advising Network

  Take calls from students who need advice about career options and areas of practice.

• Pro Bono Initiative

  Attorney-supervised placement for students who assist lawyers or public service agencies in providing legal services.

• Student Recruitment

  Participate in law fairs throughout the country and network with admitted candidates.

• Resume Writing and Interview Skills

  Participate in mock interviews with 1Ls. Review the do’s and don’ts of writing resumés.
